Unfortunately, they royally fucked up and their servers are now picking up account names with the same names in them e.g. duke, king, baal, mephisto ect ect

The characters on your account will remain on the account for 90 days (until they expire) but Blizzard will be fixing the issue so that their servers can recognise your account names again and everything will be fine.

when i try to lock in to my acc it just say the accont not exits ^^

zomg, my acc xXxMF_kInGxXx goned as well and i just had buyed botd 357% for emilio, he was so strong sudenly :cry:

all i done was logged in battlenet online and posted and they reactivated my chars

If your characters have been deleted by a mistake from Blizzard I'm sure they'll fix the issue. The reason why they put the name restricts is due to most "spam bots" use either qwertyagfdhsd or lorddhrttsajdg account names or character names, this may be the reason why everything else with "King" or "Lord" is being removed also.

Now for the (8) ban wave, I've seen a few topics up about people having their accounts closed. I'm sure after they fix the issue a ban wave will also be placed. When I talked with a Blizzard rep this morning she told me that they are actively looking into D2 and looking to resolve all problems meaning Spammers, Botters & of course the main problem which is the "Public Dupe"

Who's had their acc's closed? If so, it surely wasn't due to this..

Blizzard doesn't "actively" do Anything lmao.
And the "public dupe" has been fixed.. sooo.. either your just typing crap to look cool or these "blizzard reps" have gone back in time and are beating a dead horse.

If you say so, a lot of accounts have been closed either for names or I've seen a few for (8). Also why do you think Blizzard doesn't "actively" do anything? D2 probably has more players than D3 and a few more from D3 coming back to D2. Blizzard also still makes money from D2 if they didn't they wouldn't keep updating the Ladder.

lets say my acct name was XxLordxX, I would not be able to login to it because of the restrictions they added.
