i read somewhere the input lag is 31ms seems reasonable

31ms response time is prehistoric, my monitor i use for gaming is 2ms trust me you should never game on a console with a tv. it's 2014 people, learn2hdmicable

31 is pretty bad, 2ms over a reg 5ms monitor is splitting hairs, The response between 2-5ms is so miniscule it pretty much doesnt matter.

And what about hdmi? Has nothing to do with monitor/tv input lag.

31 is very bad.
most tvs are around 5.
Some of the Sony tvs are 1 and or 2

Inputs dont do anything for " lag "
its the actually processing power..
