This. Nothing will fix it unless u have another cdkey set, if not u just gotta wait it out

I've had this issue a few days ago. I opened a ticket with Blizzard and they answered it with similar statement with that they answered you and closed the ticket. I reopened the ticket (you have the option to do that) and they replied saying they will force the server to log me off. Now it's working perfectly.

See if you can reopen your ticket and requst for them to force log you off.

Lol good idea, good thing too, I haven't bought a new cd key yet haha. ill see if that works, thanks.

Here is a short summary of that what they replied/did

Since it's persisted over 24 hours, the server may have gotten hung up on something so I took a few steps on our side to force the account offline. This should hopefully let you get logged back into the game!

It's mind blowing they know the issue persists for many people, and instead they choose to deal with it on a 1 by 1 basis through the ticket system lmao.

just do a global restart.. geez

I suspect this week they will fix it for everyone. But, hope springs eternal. I am in day 3 of this problem.

day four for me and the tickey was answered the force loged me out and its still messed up

lol i sent in a ticket again after 24 hrs. and i got a response that he cannot force log out my account. "Regretfully our customer support team does not have necessary tools to force log out any Diablo II account."

I'm sure they could give you an hour suspension without issue though.

I think waiting is kind of the only option now >:{

They couldn't help me either. I had to buy new keys. we're good now :thumbsup:
