I ended up buying a guild but am interested in xferring my guild to a guild with an older “established date” in which case I would change the name. Would the name change, change the “est. date”?

No. Name change will change the name only.
Estimated date of guild is not visible in any public info as far as i know. You dont know how old are guilds by public wiew.

But as a guild leader or member with rights to wiew Guild Logs, just Logs you can see there every action from the very first date. So you can check it in your current guild.

My guild was created probably at 2012 as there is first Log with user who bought Charter that time, probably when he created the guild.

I bought it at 2020 and there is Log when i got Leader rights and every action, change, member, rank or topic i bought in the guild after, all is in the Log of the guild

Once you guys finish negotiating and have decided to trade a guild then make a topic in general chat and I can mediate this for you all.
