You can offer runes or request runes for items versus using FG. Just put what you want in your topics.

If somebody with a brand new account tries to tell you to go first, just say no.

Wow. And how is a trade done here? First the FG? Or the item on D2R ?

Two ways:

1- you can request a mediator.
2-someone gives first. Because you’re a new account this will typically be you.

There is nothing wrong with requesting a med. Having said that I’ve never used one, go first in probably 99% of my trades and I have never had an issue. Most folks are decent people on here. If someone is being super weird, request a med or back out. But really, I wouldnt stress it too much.

You meet buyer or seller in game, announce yourselves, then you give the item first (you’re new, this will be expected of you for at least a year, assuming you don’t blow up in fg, posts, reputable guild, etc) and the person you’re trading with sends the fg.

Sick tho, 6k posts within one year. Your daily post ratio is so much higher than mine!

Trust your instincts. If a trade doesn't feel right, request a mediator. Don't accept PM offers on expensive items (it's technically against the rules anyway). Insist they post in the thread so there is a public record. If you have friend joining enabled, don't keep randoms on your friends list. Don't post your battletag or game/password in threads (risk of impersonation scams).

When i started, i did rushes. Since i was new, people wont really lose ‘items’ for a service if they dont trust me. I earned my first few fgs doing those, wps, quests, etc. then with a little post and fg, i started tradiing smaller items. Til this day, i only had a handful of big ticket items. Hope this helps
