I understand. Assuming that you will want to use your current working email (which you used to now register this new account) for your old account which you're trying to recover, you'll probably be best off to create a new email and change the email from this new account to the new email, that way you can use your "main" email to do the recovery and hopefully link your old account to it later when your recovery is successful.
