imo you cannot grab their item, do something with it (change its state to something irreversible) just because they dropped it on the ground for a moment, i guess

You make a good point, it is worded badly I apologise.

CrackerSJ is right you shouldn’t have touched the item. I don’t however agree he could be liable as there are no trade rules to enforce this.

It would however be good manners to send 5fg for making this mistake.

I won’t go back and edit my post (again, after the initial edit) just for transparency’s sake, but apologies to all for a badly written post.

Well, if this is true, then i'll send him the 5fg. I'll send it now. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't sending 5fg to someone who just wanted to get rid of a crap item lol.

I'm paying him the 5fg that's been requested because I had bad manners I did not think about, and i'm making up for it. Won't do it again in the future either.

Alright, paid him the 5fg. Reason for was "repaying for bad manners"

However I'd like to point out, that he only took 1 screen shot of that very first thing he said and not the following 2 minutes of spew that came from his mouth. And calling me a scammer is unneccesary.

If he had come to me saying something like THAT, maybe "that's bad manners you shouldn't freaking do that man" or something like that, I would have had no issue.

The issue I had with what he did was the way he went RIGHT AWAY to calling me a scammer and threatening to get that "10%" put on my account and to "get ready to make a new account"

I do apologise, I absolutely misinterpreted the situation and jumped the gun on the advice.

Hopefully this outcome is satisfactory for everyone involved!

Don't worry, if he had made an SA Topic the full chat log is required. Very cheap lesson to learn here compared to most.
