I see. To me, the entire point of betting on a winner in a game or fight, is for the outcome. The other person agreed to the bet as well, under the assumption there will be a winner, so they took the same risk as you? Just my 2 cents

Little Boy , A retraction during A game or fight has to be agreed upon by both parties . Meaning you & The guy who's making A S/A on you little man.

The fight was proposed during the fight, accepted during the fight, and retracted during the fight. The bet did not have a retraction clause.

Don’t take a bet if you can’t pay for it.. or aren’t willing to pay the loss

IMO a game / fight is dynamic and changes over time. If people all opted out of a bet during a sports bet, then it wouldn't really be a bet, because they could just opt out before the winner is announced, right? Usually you can tell at the end or during it

So to be clear:

Had a bet.
Both agree on initial bet.


Then made an additional bet bet based on current info while initial bet was being played out.

Info then changed and you wished to retract the afore mentioned bet, but not the initial bet

Yea, not the way it works.
Added bets, spur of the moment cant be changed because you regret it without other party agreeing
