Yea if you read you would see where i put about movie mode, right?

But you contradict yourself in the end by saying the tv is really nice but too bright...
The brightness can be completely controlled, even if it's not put into "movie mode".

Not sure what ur referring to..

If its in Dynamic its too bright.. If its in movie you get better detail resulting in better picture.. No contradicting myself at all.
they have backlighting features... since it is led they all have backlighting features......

If your looking for an internet fight go bother someone else and quit acing like your tough.

Anyways PM me if you need actual help

Your conclusion:
Samsung makes a really nice TV but they are just too bright

I just don't understand why the default brightness setting would impact your decision to buy a tv, given how easy it is too change.

What you're saying is the equivalent of saying: It's a really nice car, but the air conditioner is just too cold when you first buy it.
Well, if it's too cold, raise the temperature....

The response times are horrible on the Samsung's...
lg tv's on the same settings as the samsungs still look different..

Do you not understand how the panels are built?

/facepalm...

You clearly looking just to fight...

Samsung makes a good tv is set properly. They have bad response times for gaming..

I dont like you but I like this site.. same concept. I dint have to like everything about something..

My corvette for instance... I had there is no backseat but I love the handling of the car..

You seem immature.

I do.
Did you know that up until very recently, the samsung tvs you seem to hate and the sony tvs you love used the exact same panels?
You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

Also, how do you suddenly change from saying samsung is a great tv, but it's too bright to the response times are horrible (which they aren't btw)?

vizios are prone to hdmi burning out, which cost more to replace than the tv does.

the geek squad guy keeps contradicting himself and then when proven wrongs tries to make a new claim, first they were too bright, now they have bad response time...
geek squad workers rarely know anything and have no REAL certification or education, so I wouldn't take his opinion as anything even remotely an expert advise.

I've had great luck with samsung and sanyo tvs, the vizio was great until it burnt out the hdmi port and now only can use rca cables, and the more I looked into it the more I found its a common vizio problem.
I personally don't buy anything sony usually cause the price/quality just isn't there anymore. (been about 2 decades since I considered sony a major player)
