You got sent A fake spoof site im guessing, when you logged in on the site you thought was legit, it was A custom site made by scammers to steal ur information, log out all devices , clean ur apikey, clear ur browser and all cookies, then change ur passwords, to be perfectly safe i would probably go as far as to clean my drivers and reinstalling Windows etc.. just in case you did download some trojan or injection. And from personal experiences, never trust links sent to you by anyone (links and other peoples account especially steam friends) can be easily compromised, i always voice confirm ny buddies are who they claim to be if they want me to click some link (generally id make sure im also knowledgeable in what link they send me and why) also make sure to check the links, steam links all have A exact regimen, if A single letter is wrong, its A scam link.. i.e if steam community is spellt steam communlty (the i l differences easy to miss)

just wanted to download an application for poe2 that allows you to see market in game so you dont need to go to poetrade site
I clicked the first link, which I didnt trust 100%, I went to another one that linked it to the same one I visited before... and I thought to myself.. yeah man go for it, you have used it before (I have, but might have been from the trusted site instead) lol

Update: You no longer need to third party for market. its built into the game.

Stay safe from links for sure. If someone sends you a link/you question something you can always ask google ai what the link is, copy link, ask google "I recieved this link, what is found on this website <url>". usually it will tell you if its not safe.
You no longer need sidekick or market-overlays, you can search for ~approximately stats "minimum - maximum" ingame using the market hotkey which is " \ "-button as default.
Button in the corner of Right shift and Enter.

Stay safe from links, also, there are no more waiting/fishing for items, its instant buy where you travel to their hideout and trade with their npc market-merchant,
Users dont have to be online anymore to sell items.
