Just get runelite and play osrs on that.

i want to log into runescape 3 not osrs. trying to check my old account and maybe try a little game play

Could try the Steam client, not sure if that still counts as the Jagex Launcher or not. You might have to swap over, though.

If you haven't already, join the RS Official Discord. You can get real time support with the game/log in, appeals etc. I found it crucial when i returned after some 20 odd years or so.
