the weirdest thing is it just one day stopped

gfx card updates always done etc and it just worked one day


whats your fps cap when minimized? could be it


Tried everything i could find
reinstalling drivers/updates etc

Nothing works i keep dcing when i minimize my game.
Do i lose anything of importance if i reinstall d2r on my battlenet launcher?

Dosnt feel like a permenant solution just a temporary fix :cry:

guess ill do that for now atleast, Thanks guys!


Completely reformat your PC. Delete everything. Scrub it. Clean it. This always does the trick. I wipe everything after a few years once I start noticing things like that happen. Solved my problems. If you do this. I'd bet on it going back to normal.

Your Diablo 2: Resurrected (D2R) crashes on minimize are likely due to uncapped FPS, which overloads your GPU, causing overheating and instability, often fixed by limiting FPS in settings (V-Sync/Frame Rate Cap to 60-120fps) or switching to Legacy Mode before minimizing; also check for overclocking, update drivers (maybe older ones), disable overlays, or perform a clean boot.

None of those fixed it.
