Pretty sure that's not how that works. you have to specifically donate $25 to jsp for the chance. You can't spend $25 because it has to be a straight up donation.

Although I don't believe he is correct when saying both parties involved get the actual star upgrade, I think only the user who offers the FG gets the star upgrade.

You can put up
x-amount of FG in the name of a 25$ upgrade and it will also count you in for the screening process toward DF access.
Oh maybe you’re right ^^ I guess only the one offering the fg gets the upgrade for the stars
