I changed the performance mode!
It is not overheating as it's in a room with air conditioning and over a fan board.
Sometimes I have this lag when the computer is running low on battery because I didn't notice it was uplugged, but this is not the case.
I can,t find the wifi adapter, but the computer is a Katana 15 B13VEK

With the driver updated and the performance changed I'll try to log in and see how it goes :)

Thanks so much you are good at explaining

Note that i said "high performance mode" and not performance mode. ^_^ (making sure you got the right mode)
Also, yes, the charger is required for all gaming laptops to power the GPU and CPU to full performance.
running it unplugged may significantly reduce its performance depending on what you're doing.

it's Best performance, balanced or best power efficiency, I put it on best performance.

I just logged on D4 and it's more laggy than ever...

I put the graphics settings on D4 at minimum quality and still lag as hell.

My laptop is connected to a BenQ monitor that is not made for gaming for made for photo editing... could that be the problem? I unplugged it from the laptop and the lag was minimal, but i can't see shit on the small screen of the lap top lol
Plugged it back on the lagged and lagged and lagged... unplugged it and it was fine...

Is there something to update with a monitor? or is it just that it's something that cannot be used?

If the connection is still lagging, try cable.
It may be that you're getting inaccurate readings on your phone as some people mentioned.
High Performance mode should not have any negative effects on performance, unless its overheating.

if the refresh rate is lower on your external monitor from your modern laptop, it may appear to be lagging.

lots of laptops have 144hz+ ( 144+ fps) while cheaper monitors may only run 60hz (60fps)

-> check if the monitor has buttons for settings (perhaps its locked into 24fps) as some monitors will ship with weird settings.
-> If it lags more than usual after putting high performance mode on, then its clearly overheating. (if so just set it back to its previous settings)

aside from frame lag, your best bet to fix connection lag is to try cable. if that still doesn't work, it's probably the modem that is failing.

It is not a cheap monitor!!!

The BenQ GW3290QT is a 31.5-inch 2K QHD monitor with a USB-C port, ergonomic adjustments, and eye-care technologies2345. It features a 32-inch IPS panel, 2560 x 1440 resolution, 75Hz refresh rate, and 5ms response time1.
THis is what I found on the internet for description

Very strange indeed, then.
Perhaps the game automatically attempts to change the settings when you plug in the monitor?

I would reduce the resolution to 1920x1080 and unlock the fps and see if that helps.

I don,t know... actually I don,t know much about computers.. I tried to look about changing the fps in the display settings but only found Hz and it was set at 59, the max being at 74

I don't want to change the resolution of the monitor as I use it for photo retouching. I will buy reading glasses and unplug the big monitor and play with the laptop monitor only :(

You would only change the resolution ingame.
it wont affect the rest of the computer.

but as you mentioned, it's locked at 60 fps, whilst your laptop monitor most likely support 144+ fps. /edit yes, it is a 144hz model after looking it up.
this may feel laggy to someone that's used to a smooth experience at high framerates.
