I’m just very upset with this game.
Tried updating everything and still won’t work.
Bought a new cpu and graphic card….
If you bought them yourself and plugged them into an already existing PC, could be a compatibility issue. I'm not super knowledgeable about PC parts, but I'm pretty sure there are some brands that don't work well with other brands. So maybe your GPU or CPU aren't meant for your motherboard.
But again that's why I was asking the questions that I was, because at first you said Ping and then lag. Trying to figure out if its a connection issue or hardware issue. High ping means bad internet connection, but a slow running, laggy choppy game would be hardware. Also why I asked how D2r runs in legacy mode (old graphics).
Also I totally understand your frustration with your PC not running well. It's one of the reasons I try not to upgrade my PC unless I'm doing the whole thing, in fear that something way stop working.
