I am very sorry if I'm being difficult. I just want to make sure I'm playing by the rules.

Sure you can post ‘Thanks for a trade’, just not within 4 hours of the last post.

You can also edit your first post within 3 days and that way you just edit out the items you bought/sold.
You can even quote their message and thank them in the first post.

I would like to draw attention to the language in the early bump report. It states no posting two or more back to back replies in under 4 hours.

This implies that you cannot post in your thread twice in a row with nothing in between in less than 4 hours. It does not imply that you cannot respond to your own post only once ever 4 hours.

Again, I would like to apologize for any problems. I just want to get the facts.

Edit edit: I don't know why I cant link images. I apologize. I am really struggling with the image. That's the best I can do.

no you can't, it doesn't matter if it's 1 person or 10 people if you want to thank users for trading. Send them a pm

every your reply in your topic within 4 hours of your previous post is an early bump.

Sorry, 1 thing for clarification on my part. I get the early bumping thing with the "t4ts". However in a situation like the following;

I am selling an item for X amount and someone offers Y amount.

I would need to wait 4 hours from my last post before counter offering to that person in order to reach a compromise and complete the trade?

Well yes, that is what people are saying but when I go to report a post early bump is defined as 'two back to back responses in a row' NOT as 'posting in a thread more than once every four hours'.

I would also like to compound on this and ask if you would prefer that I report every post where the OP responds more than once every 4 hours?

I cannot make it more clear, what the rules state and what is being told here are two VERY different things. This is why I am looking for clarification.

You can counter that and say price is XX.

Simply posting ‘t4t’ is considered a EB.
Replying to questions related to your iso/ft is alright as it’s a actually trade related.

You can PM people or thank them in game. Merely saying "t4t" after a trade is considered early bump, especially in situations where you waited over an hour to do so.

No, you can respond to offers and other things of that nature in your thread. You're allowed to trade within your topic, many people opt to PM.
