I don't know which one would be the best for my build.


i see a lot of suggestions about merces from d2 resurrected which wont apply to you imo since you playing legacy d2 arent you ?


imo you should go for attack rating merc with maybe a DOOM wpn too slow mobs around you down for more time too woop their ass with frenzy and almost 100% accuracey B) :hug:

Yes i understand but i have 75@, and i see my andy is jeweled with fire res jewel. But my merc still die almost in travincal...

No it's d2, i use a2 merc have already freeze aura, botd wp is end game with forty sa.

I use andy eth as helmet, it's great but i don't know if i need the leach and ias with my botd.

I want to try guli face.

try search up the breakpoint for hes ias,

maybe try give him a 60/160 armor or/and 45/120 helm so he might be able to kill faster

only thing left too do is try get the equip u feel fits him best for your play style or just killspeed i guess


gface should work for sure, specially vs bosses/minions

Edit: hydras are bugged on mercs in reg d2, idk about d2r

Realistically just use 2x griefs with the above merc

I can't remember the dmg multiplier they take. Buts it's sizeable.

according to amazonbasin, it is the opposite: merc and summons takes regular dmg from hydras, only players are buffed with a unit multiplier of 0.17. so its rather that the hydra dmg to player that is bugged (or featured)
