Would you happen to be sharing your Spotify account amongst over 2 devices?

You can only share the account with 2 devices, also it may be a proxy/vpn issue on your PC - would you happen to be using those?

When you look for a song, is it just not showing up in general? Or is it giving you an error saying "Song is unavailable" ?

I am asking because if it's saying "Song is unavailable" then it is suggesting to turn off restricted mode in the YT Music App.

Any reason to not just use regular youtube? I've never used YT music but I never saw the reason for having it.

It's more specific to music. Shuffle play, recommendations are only music related or by artists you might like, or enjoy similar to. Songs you haven't listened to in awhile. I don't think I have seen any non music recommendations. An instance, you look up an artist, you will get the music, not interviews, scandals, etc.

I have been trying to figure out his issue as well, not sure at the moment for a solution other than what others already said.

Are you able to log into your account with your roommates computer?

It's the internet itself. Not sure how to fix the issue, but me and roommate did a bit more testing again and it only happens when connected to our internet.



this is what led us to the discovery, after logging into my account on his PC then switching back to his account we noticed most songs had disappeared, then we connected our phones to our wifi and same thing most songs vanished. Disconnected from the wifi, restarted the apps, and everything was back again.

Thank you for everyone's assistance - going to contact our ISP and pester them for a fix.
