Thanks for explaining. Is this the first time someone has brought it up, or is it mainly because of the paywall to access older posts?

It's been brought up for many years. Not sure what "paywall" you're referring to. To my knowledge no one can go back further than 201 unless you manage to google a specific post that's further back.

I see that now. Looks like a pretty clear cut case. Dude literally copy pasted his gold log of selling it for 7500 and same month he’s selling the same item for “2k need gone tonight”

I can't confirm that yet, but this ongoing case definitely requires further investigation. One thing is certain: the item vanished just when I was about to sell it.

Well, it seems like not everyone is aware of that. I'd be happy to share—it turns out you can pay to view older posts using the new search post button located in everyone's profile right under photos.

But this issue should be addressed. If not, they could at least make the search posts feature accessible for free and implement a cooldown to prevent abuse

As for your previous post, what's the use of having 'archives' if they're not accessible

I assume by archives they mean inaccessible to normal users without using the search function. This could be for a multitude of reasons, including preventing stress on the website host for things like data/web scraping. Hopefully someone else can clarify for you :)

Thanks for the clarification. It makes sense to prevent stress on the website, but perhaps there could be a middle ground to make older posts more accessible without compromising site stability

fyi that feature is not new. You've always been able to pay some fg to view older posts of a specific person.

They can see gold logs, and since you provided them with a screenshot of the thread I can imagine they have the ability to see past page 201 as mods. I cannot find it via google so it’s basically on them to be able to find it since their system buries it beyond what you as a member can see.

You can also try web archive org, set site to d2jsp forums and time to roughly the date of your topic you need
