The main reason why the current system works is because the number of one-off scammers is very small. Probably 95% percent of SAs that I've seen are coming from repeated offenders. The remaining 5% tend to remain unresolved, unless there is overwhelming evidence, usually in the form of a video. I think only video recording can be anywhere near conclusive evidence.

Edit: my % split doesn't include loan scams. These follow a different, easier procedure.

Yea I agree with you on this one which is why I just always record every transaction with obs: name, trade, seller agree, bnet, trade screen t4t... so I never have to worry about it. Good ol 12 year old seagate barracuda 5400rpm.

So we can just remove the screenshot process,

you can literally just drop the shit on the floor while you take screenshots of the stash, ESPECIALLY when the team FORCES you to use the non-hd graphics while taking the screenshots, because it hides the floor while the stash is open..

There have been similar questions in the past and I have yet to see a clear answer written. It's always "we have a process to follow for a reason" yada yada.

The real answer is there isn't a fool proof way besides video when doing a trade/proving innocents. So they come up with a flawed "system" and back it up no matter what.
