User has been threatening me and other guild mates via PM

Has posted multiple threads saying he will pay IRL money to hunt our characters in game and has mentioned “stealing accounts”

Unfortunately pm are not moderated. The best option is to block the user and ignore the harassment. If this user keeps harassing you in any of your topics then hit the report post button. You can block a user here:

So this user is free to offer USD vs services on jsp? And intentionally grief other characters via jsp?

No, He can't offer services for $. If you have evidence that a user is breaking the rules, collect it and then contact one of the trade moderators

from my years of experience in online games, the best approach with that kind of people is generally to tell him to eat a dick

also, while jsp rules can be avoided for some things, this is not one of them. if he tries to pull that on jsp, he will disappear faster than a watermelon on mlk boulevard he can pay irl money for that somewhere else im sure, but if someone were willing to actually pay for something like that, i would take that as a personal compliment and enjoy free narcissistic supply

Every user was granted the tools to stop private message harassment immediately and you may have guessed it, it's the block button.

If the user you blocked is harassing you on a different account after you blocked him then you may use this tool to report him: https://forums.d2jsp.org/tools.php?a=1

If any of the mentioned threats ever seeps into the forums and you find the user harassing you in your topics or posts or make hateful topics about you such as paying a bounty for someone to PK you in-game etc...
then report the post and moderators will deal with it from there.

Pretty sure you’re free to do anything you want vs $$ as long as it has nothing to do with jsp and the conversation did not originate from jsp.

Don’t even need a site tbh.
As long as FG or jsp isn’t involved whatsoever you could literally just discord someone, as long as you trust them. Don’t think jsp enforces many trades that of that nature though.

I.e you will more than likely receive no pity in a scammer accusation

although i dont really understand why people even get upset by threats like those. once irl some guy recorded me with phone when i took a shit behind some building and was like "pay or this will be all over the internet in an hour"

i was like "no ones gonna watch that, gl getting 5 views xddd"
