I'm having trouble posting pictures on posts or on my profile.

I'm downloading images
Then uploading to imgur
Then posting them in the topic with the x
and it just posts the link.

When I try the permanent with the .png or .gif at the end it just shows a little picture icon on bottom left but no picture.

What am I missing or doing wrong?

this was happening to me. I noticed after uploading, I was clicking the copy link button too soon, before it was actually uploaded. try again but this time wait until you see the confirmation that it was uploaded at the top of the screen before clicking the copy link button.

hm. How are you getting the images you are trying to upload?

Another thing I noticed, but don't understand, is when I want to upload pics from my phone to jsp, I post them onto discord then save them on my pc. However, if you download from discord and rename the picture, it won't work as it for some reason won't have a file type.

but if you download it and leave it with whatever random gibberish name it automatically has, then everything is fine.

also can you post one of them here as just the link and I can see what happens if I try to post it?

you using the imgur app or website?

So I did a test.

Because I have purchased Fg recently, I have the option to upload images right here from JSP through imgur. I did that from my phone and the photo worked. However, when I went to the app and tried to upload the same image, it did not work. I get the same broken image that you are getting.

Are you clicking the image box after you’ve highlighted your link?
Left to right it’s (bold, italics, underline, strike through, center, image…)

omg I missed that part. that might be his issue.. lol

however, I did do that but when uploading from my phone it still did not work

Depending on what you’re posting, you may need the url button, which is to the right of image
