Hi I been gone for a long time, and was wondering if I use a med for my trade to I need to log into my account to pass item or can I just sent med my password and Id and med can take care of the trade for me?

you hand over the item to the mediator. You do not provide passwords for your account.

Mediator takes item and FG from buyer/seller. Then hands over the items/FG after confirming both players are who they say they are

Will any mediator log on my account and do the trade for me, or is the only way is I have to log in to hand item over I heard it’s easy to get ban on path now and my Poe account is since beta but I have not play for a long time and won’t want a ban just for selling some item

I can't see why the med can't just hold onto the forum gold and confirm both parties in game names.

Most games outside of d2 operate under a "let me know when you receive the item in question and I will release the fg" method. (wow being another game you wouldn't want to hand large amounts of gold to a med for them to then hand the same amount to the buyer)

Idk bro maybe I ask my question wrong but I just don’t want to pass item to med I rather have med log in my account and do the trade so it’s more safe of course I will make trade thread find buyer and all that

They hold onto both so the seller's item isn't accidentally(or purposefully) traded to the wrong person and an S/A topic is created.
