When I am playing d2 lod on useast I will randomly get "your connection has been interrupted" while playing, then get booted back to the login screen, where it will tell me that my cd key is in use by me. Within 2-5 min I can log back in.

I am running d2 in mac os x el capitan, on a virtual machine through parallels in windows xp pro 32bit. I previously was having the same issue with my old macbook that was snow leopard, running xp pro 32 bit in parallels.

This issue randomly started around 1.14, without any changes to my router/modem/isp/hardware. The issue started when I was at an apartment with comcast, and then continued when I moved to a house with comcast. The issue continued when I switched to verizon fios.

I still get the random interrupt if I use battleping. I have tried recreating a new virtual machine on my new MacBook.

For other games in parallels, I don't randomly get disconnected, and my internet connection is not actually interrupted.

Any suggestions? Also, can d2 run native on el capitan, or does it still require an older version of os x

does this happen when you play legit too?

Maybe a run time error? There's a list to download that I can send you

check your public IP with an IP checker website after logging onto d2, then immediately recheck it after the error

do the same thing with your private IP (ipconfig in the XP VM)

if either changes, it could be DHCP lease related
