Hello,

I am needing a bit of assistance with email change on this account. Not sure what has changed but, in the past, I have been able to manually self-change email to something else with no issues. Trying it now is saying that the email used is invalid. I have access to the current email on this account. I know because I have attempted password resets and get email sent to it. I have completed several password resets on this account with no issues in the past few days. The problem is trying to change the email. I have already attempted an email recovery for the account also but oddly getting only password resets email only.


Any help will be greatly appreciated! If someone can double check if it is just me or something is wrong with the option to actually being able to change emails.

Yes, that is the tool. It says the email used is invalid after I attempt to change the current one to something else. I have tried the option below "I Forgot My Account Email" and all it does is send me email for password reset.

Hi,
I just checked and it seems to work fine on my side. If it says the email is invalid, maybe the email you’re trying to use is already linked to another account or the format is not being accepted for some reason.

Try a different email and see if it still gives the same error. If it does, you might need to ask an admin to look into it.

Thanks for checking, much appreciated. So I know for a fact that it cannot be attached to another account. When I was initially trying to change the current email on the account to something else, I was getting the invalid error for the email being used. I did submit a "forgot account email". It took like a couple of attempts for d2jsp to check and they said that they have changed it to the email that they were sending me messages to update me about my issue with email change. This is the same email that should be attached to the account currently that d2jsp said they changed it to. This is the same email now I am using and wanting to change to another email. I get password reset email sent to it all the time when I have tested. So I know the email is valid and good on the account, but when I attempt to use that same email to change it to another email, it says invalid. Which absolutely makes no sense. How can I get password reset emails sent to the current email on the account but cannot use that same email to change it to another email.

I have also attempted that link for contact twice now with no response but will continue to send until I get some admin to respond. There has to be something wrong with the account email option for me or something is locked.

No problem. 🙂 I would just add that it’s best not to spam there and simply wait for a response, because repeatedly sending the same request definitely won’t help resolve the problem any faster. I hope everything will be working again soon. Just be patient. 🙂.
