https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1340631/a-pop-up-window-repeatedly-appears-and-quickly-dis

This is what I found.

E* I would follow the steps in the first answer, as it goes through start up applications, etc. Have you downloaded some thing recenly or any update?

They way it sounds, imo, is that there is still a process open in the background.

Are you familiar enough with the task manager, or what opens on start up to see something new or different

In windows explorer, go to the startup folder to see if there’s any newly added application.

If you don’t see anything new, hit control + alt + delete on keyboard to open task manager to see the active processes.

You can also check in event viewer, if you know the exact time, what event happened.

I remember having a similar problem, DOS window flashes for a sec and nothing after. Mine happened at exact same time every day, once per day. Turned out to be windows registration check.

That happens to me randomly too. Little black box I usually see out of thr corner of my eye. I don't think much of it. I know my computer is safe from viruses and whatnot. Probably just something I have running in the background.

If it’s a black box(Cmd prompt) it is most likely something autoupdating in the background. AMD and Adobe usually do this pop up for me
