For some reason drag and drop doesn't work for me in recent days, and the add image button is a little vague to me.

It's not options. Those are perks that you get when you purchase fg and they last for 30 days. Drag and drop image upload is one of them.

Ohhhh gotcha. Does that apply to even the add image button on the bar for posting? I've tried following the imgur upload/link and it's still just showing the link.

You have the wrong link. Your link is https://imgur.com/a/AzyburR and it should be https://i.imgur.com/ybCx0U0.png <- notice the .png ending

My link was generated off the 'grab link' and 'copy link' buttons. How were you able to convert it to that link instead? It definitely worked for me, but I'm just confused on how you got to that.

I'm on PC and can do Right Click -> Open Image in New Tab then grab the link of the image when it opens in new tab. Right Click -> Copy Image link also gives me that link.

When you upload the image to imgur and hover over the image it gives you, as explained in How To Upload Your Images To D2jsp Using Imgur, a Copy Link and three dots. Click on the three dots and copy the BBCode (Forums) link <- it always has some kind of .png / .jpg or other ending to the link.
