Have a rare helm, a white war cap, if I upgrade this to shako will it still be white in inventory?

I think you can only upgrade rare/uniq items.
You cant upgrade a white item.

Ok so my first sentence says ok so I have a rare helm…. It’s a war cap… I want to upgrade it to elite. Will it lose its color in inventory?

Probably not, but i would test this on single player if this is important

Your first post says you "have a rare helm, a white war cap"...a little misleading.

Edit: no upgrading a rare item will not change the color.

Since the attributes stay the same, it should stay the same white color.
