This mechanic needs to be looked into. I tried to tag someone, whos jsp name is Newb. with the period at the end. Instead it tagged some random user, Newb without the period. Can we figure out a way to get around this punctuation issue when tagging users?

Put the name in quotation marks if it contains characters like that and it will work

You have to long press the quotations on your Apple phone keyboard to select the correct one.
