well we can be sure this baxes came from shops, shops = hundreds or thousands of bots, also + skilled japanese scripting/hacking maniacs with skilled programs to import items in the game, imo

Let us just think about the chances of succes for a second! Look at the 40/300/fools/eth/rep/2os axe for example.
1: 101.269.172 (yes that is 100 million) eth berserker axes with affix level 57 (optimal chance) will spawn with the correct mods. In order to roll perfect mods (2 sockets, 300% ed) the chance is 1: 20.253.824.400 (yes that is 20 billion). And that is if you take it as a given that the starting item is ethereal.

D2 LOD was released in the summer of 2001. Approximately 4745 days has passed since then. That means that in order to average the odds 4.268.456 eth berserker axes would have to be rolled EVERY DAY (this means that on average one of these axes would drop one time in 4745 days if this number of rolls were made).

Conclusion: somebody wasted their time on this game, should have played the lottery instead.

Dont think this axe was possible at 2001 or people know about it.. that days Silence runeword Baxe was maybe best one

And i think it was summer 2000, it was 29 June 2000 Diablo 2 Released man..

According to wiki (http://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diablo_II:_Lord_of_Destruction) d2 lod was released 29th of june 2001. But actually these mods could not spawn until 1.10 (28th of october 2003).

It was 2000, you can check the Box of original game and you will see 2000 it was 29 june 2000 i see it man in my original Diablo 2 box..

And this axes are only good for Duels Barb vs Barb or Zeal vs Zeal which people didnt know and didnt even think about this far far way more as 2000 or 2001, even in 2003 or 2004 was fools mod really only for fools and shit weapon without any use imo... XD

So, this items are only imported by shops last years of the game..

Last modified game was at 2008 i think and from that is same to now i think.

About fool weapon should people think maybe from 2004/5 years when started that crazy duels.. but i dont know, i think about it only maybe alot later..

Either way the chance of this kind of weapon to spawn through the normal mechanics of the game are... limited.
Does not mean import though. There are ways to imbue items and reroll the quest, thus making the timeframe much more manageable.

classic yes 2000 ... lod ofc not ... so its not a original box just a bundle with a copyright print of 2000

and back than the game systematic was a bit different there was no reason to go for an rare weapon like this..also the market was a whole another one imaging all the badass cccqs etc back then
last chance obv was 1.13 which open the door for the bot invasion
