how do we know you werent doing something on them that got them banned?

How will you prove that you have never logged on those chars?

This kind of trade was super legit for about 10 years now, and suddenly more than 50% D2 players lost everything and you wanna make to do S\A for it?
Do you have any idea how many users will get locked if they will approve this kind of accusations?

Nah, I made a fresh account on clean keys etc. For him to do 4x 1-90s on it and now he is telling me the account is closed. After telling me that he 100% did it manual on clean keys and no proxys and their was 100% gurantee. Good thing I saved the message.

This isn't necessarily true though. If they are in fact banning accounts based on your public IP address, then it is 100% possible for a legit person to get banned. There are a finite amount IPV4 public IP's. Lots of ISP's use dhcp, which means you can spoof your MAC address and get assigned new IP instantly. These IP's are obviously re-used, so if one gets flagged, and someone else who uses the same ISP just happens to play d2, then there's the potential that they could get assigned a bad IP and be screwed. Now the chances of something like this happening are EXTREMELY rare, but if they're banning based on public IP then it's definitely possible.

I might not be able to prove it but he knows they are not legit I'll follow him and make sure traders trade with caution. I bought 4 chars off him traded one off so not sure how that ended. One hdin I played on not asking for that back because I did use it it is what it is but the two 85 pallys I never logged just checked once other got banned my keys are still good also so that tells me it's on his end
