We have found a problem where a u64 value got converted to binary and caused problems with ladder in some characters. We are testing the fix and will roll back the people that this affects.

This will take a little bit of time.

I dont understnad why they are doing this to west only

West has one of the smaller populations, less people impacted when stuff goes wrong (like now).

My thoughts were that they were testing some changes and are preparing for the possibility of increased traffic when the remaster is released. It is entirely possible that after 17 years (or maybe they did an upgrade more recently) Blizzard decided it was time to upgrade the servers again, but I kinda doubt it.
