If I'm not mistaken...I think most people like to go guns blazing and see how fast they can kill or be killed, since once ladder resets, your characters you worked hard to build are worthless unless you play soft core. Rebuilding, finding, and doing it all over again is the fun, and it pretty much gives you a chance to jump right back in nice and fresh which is always enjoyable. Contrary to popular belief, many of us think it is fun to start nice fresh ladders where everyone is even for at least a day. Fg from a game is nothing more then just that, a game, so people don't really consider anything necessarily wasted. Most of us play and trade for fun in the first place, so think not of it as a waste, but something that we enjoy and a challenge.

Nothing is ever worthless. You tried your best you had fun now its time to start over again. If you get bored or all else fails you can always go play softcore where your GG player awaits a nice checkup now and then. Well, unless you deleted it.
