I'd take 15 str mod or 20 min or 20 max mod over cold damage mod... just get cold dmg from a sc. can't get those high mods from scs.

rares > ruenswords cuz of 40% crushingblow possiblity + fools is an extra 2 rings or choice for a barb >_>

Then you lose life from small charms though.
