and when i write +1s, myplayingname. i mean it as x + 1, which means that the outcome is always one more more, and not zero or higher.
youre getting the concept now apply it
X = the number of posts already made in the topic. thus if you have 3 prior posts 3 + 1 = 4 more post than you had prior to this thread.
X = 0 in the situation if it is your first post. thus 0 + 1 = 1 more post than you had.
+1 technically speaking in math terms does mean x+1
