My account was secure, and not the account the scam was perpetrated on. My brother had the account that the scam was committed on.
Don't see how that's my fault for merely sharing the same IP address months ago.

well the problem is they don't know if you actually have a brother or whether you got on his account and scammed and tried to play it off so they lock every account associated with said ip address

That's what I was told.
I just don't understand their logic... I've been on the site for well over 3 years, have posted a ton, have never been accused of scamming, own my own guild, and they locked me for a 25fg LOAN WELCH?
And I repaid the day I was informed of the scam (some 45 days ago) and I'm not unlocked. Their logic escapes me completely.

unlock process can take up to two years, you need to stay active trading/posting etc

how do you not understand their logic? they don't know 100% that it was your brother on the account and not you, or if you even have a brother

I can understand where they are coming from... I just don't understand why I'm not unlocked yet. I was eager to repay the scam that was committed, and did so. What else is there to it?

if you simply repay and be unlocked don't you see where people may scam etc all the time? even if they scam 1 fully geared pvp char then get tired of it so they sell it to repay the scam and be unlocked, then they simply do it again and again
