Magic shields get 1-2 sockets efter doing socketing quest on them.

Shields of delfecting can be bought from vendors in all acts in all difficulties. There is nothing special about a gothic shield of deflecting.
Could you please tell us what or who would give you 1k fg for a shield like this, so we could laugh at you?

u cannot get 4 sockets in, maximum is 2, all above 3 is a own prefix.

so this shield can be sold to charsi.
