My pc keeps restarting everytime I turn it on just about 3-8 seconds after hitting the power button. Then randomly sometimes it will stay on then my monitor won't screen anything. I am confused as shit anyone got any ideas? Is it my graphics/video card if so I plan to buy a new one tomorrow most likely but dont want to waste the money if its something else.

I have tried everything and its def not my power supply because I swapped it with one from another computer and nothing changed at all. please help.

I am one of these...Well, half of one. I'm out of practice. I know what I'm doing/talking about though. If it's not your card, I will eat my own shoes and take pics.

press del on boot and look for your temp settings and make sure your fail safe isn't too low or it will auto shut off very quickly

also try opening the case and cleaning all of your fans and making sure all hard drive connections are secure and your RAM is connected properly sometimes they can pop out

my oldschool xp did this. i looked at the video card and the fan was burnt and melted lol.
