Iso how to up a white armor and a white shield, I need to know what runes and gems will up them and i can't get the formulas on Arreats to work for me!

are they superior?
cuz upping doesnt work on superior items

there is no such formulae for white, only rare and unique

well armor is superior and shield is not just 45 res, that should work right?

Like he said. You can only upgrade unique or rare items. You can change quality of an item from low quality to normal quality but that is it.

has to be plain white - no superior
for armor - tal/thul/ptopaz
for shield - tal amn pruby

im not sure if you call this up - it only create random sockets

these wont up they are the socket bugs
nothing will up a white armor or shield to a better class

I have been told that you can up white items? Can someone tell me how if possible?

like i said you may only socket bug them
ie you cannot make a ghost armor into a dusk shroud there is no recipe to do this 100% sure
