thats not a very good mindset to live by. chance you'll get hit by lightning if you walk outside, get hit by a car, fall down the stairs, get mugged, get bombed etc etc

yes but thats assumed risk there is a difference i dont go swimming with sharks with bloody meat because thats unnecessary but going outside and such things like that are necessary

7 years since 1.10 rolled is hardly insignificant.
Honestly, anyone who sells perm anything is an unperm as perm seller. They just don't acknowledge it, and can't really be held at fault since they truly believe anything is perm anymore.

you said it yourself, most of the trusted perms on jsp now are sold as such because theres almost no chance they'll clash with the real thing

Of course. But a rare chance to clash and perm/legit aren't the same thing. There is no chance with a legit item.
Even my gzerk is unperm, but I used it for 6+ months every day with no concern of it poofing, and none that it will. Still doesn't make it perm <_<

if it added to the risk of being hit by lightning then yes because getting wet doesn't bother me it goes down to personal preference i don't take the risk on "perm" items because there are many unnecessary risks assumed with them

definently agree that unperm = unperm no mater how it's spun,
angelo asked why even buy such an item, i guess 'statistically insignificant' is too strong, but the response was basically..because the chances insanely low that it'll ever poof (not that it was perm, just that i would have an extremely small chance to poof)

But compared with the drama and bloody nonsense that occurs when it does poof? Someone's always going to have to deal with it eventually, and I'd rather not like my name on the list of those to be held accountable or have my name used to encourage legitimacy.

aww so that isnt how capitalism works please feel free to "inform" me
