I think a lot does depend on the third owner. Obviously if they're sketch...then probably not.

But if they're creditable, then it's obvious that Shawny was still sold an unperm sc at perm sc cost...and he should therefore be refunded by Brigadier

Also...the time limitation is also not really a consideration. I think if you sell a duped item to a creditable user who then sells it to another creditable user who has it poof on them a year or two down the road...I think you should still be on the hook for a repay at the original price.

It has more to do with the creditability of the chain of users than anything else.
