Then don't buy from him? There are plenty of other sellers. (Although I doubt if any credible seller would sell high end item to unknowns)

Here's the reason why. When you sell to a unknown, they'll claim that it has poofed and demand a refund of some sort. To avoid that trouble, it's wiser for a seller to sell a high end item to a known person who has proven themselves to deal justly with high end items.

Good enough explanation for you there?
