Meh.. they have done a public beta test before, back in 08 and 09 they put one out, back when the origional d2 team was still around...
now that they have a NEW d2 team that can actualy program the game, they are trying to improve it... thats all.

my guess? Patch is out in 3-4 weeks. irregardless of how long its taken, as soon as the beta is out, it is in the prime stages, unless users complain about some kind of huge bug... then it will be released.

hmmm.. i assume ladder reset will happen very shortly in the new year.

They have been holding it from us for too long.
