not necessarily

if u 1soc it, its worth 5 to 10fg more MAX

and if u up it

u got a 5% chance of it being worth 10x as much

but a 50% chance of it being worthless

the other 45%chance will make it be worth a lil less to a lil more



when u up shields/armors/helms etc, the defense u get on the up varies

u could up the 507 hoz, and it could go to 510

or u could up it and it can go to 579

its a gamble, the safe bet is to sell non uppd
