if you want you can replace the bks with str/life/res rings, since you really don't need the fcr...same with trangs. you want to hit the 105 bp, since 200 fcr requires you to sacrifice so much

it is, but you have really low ib damage so you can't stomp people even if you put points into ib.
if you go es, better to do these skills:
max orb
ice bolt
mastery
telek
es
rest in warmth

then for gear switch out the bks for sojs and the trangs for frosties and the treks for mana boots.

for most people, yah.
but i owned on my es orber ^.^
lost 2-3 to the former #1 blizz sorc (aryc), never lost more than that to anyone...got dodged by the current #2 blizzer but that's more of an inside joke than a serious dodge, i have much luv for zak.
he never did ft5 me tho
for the most part, blizz is better--more damage, but i had been playing orb sorcs since my noob days, so i was already pro at them
i guess i'd advise a blizz sorc--same gear as an orber tho.

the only reason i was thinking of an orber is because of the old school days that was my favorite char. I don't want to make it and get stomped out everywhere. Only reason i want to go vit is because the es thing is still confusing for me and difficult to balance out vit/energy imo. cant put none into vit because of psn dmg and open wounds etc. but cant put too much or no mana which is the basis of defense.
