lol any item used on a merc does not get damaged, but if it was a ebug it should be able to be used on a character and not get damaged witch is wath i was talking about ....

You cannot Make Zbugged armors anymore like Potticus was saying.

only Ebugged (Cube Bugged) are availible now.
which means it can break if you character wears it, but will not break on your merc.

thats ok but it sounds to me like a cube bugged item is no great thing, because any item bugged or not used on a merc does not get damaged

I was told its 40-100FG.

ebugged just means you used cube to add sockets. when you do this, the original def increases. eth items already have a naturally high def. exp my eth boneweave had 800+ def. once i socketed with cube it had 1100+ def. once i made it into fort, it had 3282 def.
