so i got a new amp wiring kit for x-mas and hooked it all up and ended up replacing both terminals and my battery ground wire
and i now have a few problems i havent had before..
- when i turn the volume from 01 or 00 the speakers pop once
- when i turn the shit on 00 volume or pause, there is still a quiet, rapid beat coming from the subs
- when i turn the subwoofers "off" from the deck, they dont turn off
- and now i have alternator hum coming out of my subs even when the volume is at nothing. and it goes away when i unplug the small wire that goes from the amp to the deck (the really small one thats like a 14 or 16 gauge)
i couldnt find any pos/neg wires that are touching at all, everythings hooked up right. i mean, when i was puting it all together tehre was a couple times when i grounded out a pos for a split second or somethin, but thats it.
if anyone has any idea what could be wrong, please post here.
