I'm going to be hosting a LAN this weekend, and I was realizing that I'd need a 8 port hub or switch, and I couldn't decide on which one to get. Does anyone have any suggestions, these are the two that I have been able to find so far that look decent. Here is a link to both:

The second one is a 10/100/1000 which I'm assuming allows for a quicker upload and download between the clients. Does it really make that much of a difference or would I just be paying for more than I need? I really would like some insight on this ASAP as I plan to buy the HUB/Switch tomorrow.
