old english lawyer is driving up to sctoland to see a client..he is going through a small town and slows down for red lights but does not stop...


...eventually a cop pulls him over and says excuse me sir ... do you realize those were stop signs.... why didnt you obey and stop...

lawyer thinks to himself ... right i can out smart this guy.. and says well yes i did but i slowed down and made sure nothing was coming... and if you can tell me the difference between slowing down and stopping ill accept you writing me a ticket....



cop says look i tell you what if you get out of the car ill tell you the difference so the lawyer goes to get out of his car and the cop grabs him and says NOW TELL ME LADDIE DO YOU WANT ME TO STOP OR DO YOU WANT ME TO SLOW DOWN
