How to identify a failing argument 101 - By GFYcorp:
You can tell someone is losing an argument with many simple identifying features. We'll list a few for your benefit here today:
1. Profanity - you can always tell someone is running out of things to say when they have to resort to using profanity to intensify their statement.
2. Racism - this is another easy way to identify a fail if you must resort to attacking someone's race when it has nothing to do with the argument.
3. Illiteracy and poor grammar - when one gets frustrated that they are getting beaten in an argument, often the first thing to go is correct spelling and sentence agreement.
4. Deflection/Misdirection - Often when losing an argument someone will pick out one horribly unimportant fact that has nothing to do with the argument to try and branch off into another argument that they think they have a better chance at winning.
5. Caps lock - often when losing someone will start typing in all caps to make themselves seem more important because their argument has no base.
Other identifying features include fat/mother/gay comments, but those are obvious and don't need to be pointed out at this time.
These are just a few simple ways to identify when you are winning an argument, use them to your advantage as you see fit.
